Ai Tokaji

[The PCD starts up as Ai runs out of her house, the device rolling out of her pocket onto the ground. She stares up at the sky and the burning city around her, terror etched all over her face.]

No! This can't... What's...?

[Fire continues falling from the sky, dropping right onto her. Ai's eyes widen momentarily before, in another burst of flames, two giant, metal-edged fans form in her hand, She flicks them open and throws them into the sky, where they combine to form a circle above her.  Any fire directly over her head is quickly absorbed into the two fans, leaving the girl untouched.

That doesn't really help the house much, as pieces of the roof catch fire. Looking over, Ai sweeps her hand to the side, dragging the flames off of the house and onto the ground. She then proceeds to quickly dig around in her pocket and withdraw a small, crude crystal.]

Please...work.

[Pulling her hand back, Ai hurls the gem over the house. Nothing seems to happen, up until the fire-rain starts bouncing off of some sort of barrier around the house.

Relief washes over her features. She starts again, however, when she sees that the PCD is lying on the ground and blinking. Ai drops down to her knees and grabs the device.]

Hello, is anyone listening?! Is there anyone who needs help? I can't....do much, but I can try to keep the fire away.

[When the PCD flips on, Ai appears looking tired and a little bit ill. Guess who got wasted on the punch last night.]

Um, excuse me! Hello! My name is Ai, and, um, I got here a little over a month ago or so. I haven't gotten much of an opportunity to talk with many people, though, so um...I made cookies!

[She holds up a plate of what appear to be sugar cookies, complete with frosting and even some sprinkles.]

I can't give out very many, but if you'd like to come by and try one or two then just let me know.
